Résumé
Abstract:
Corrosion is the destruction and degradation (chemical or electrochemical) of metallic materials by their environment. A corrosion inhibitor is a chemical compound (organic or inorganic) which added to the corrosive environment, substantially decrease or stop the process of corrosion of metal placed in this medium. In this study, the inhibition effect of the derived chelatin phosphonates of Hydroxy-6-Methyl-4-nitrobenyl phosphonic acid (AHMNPMP) with 2-(méthylideneamino)- 3-phenylpropanoic) acid (ALPAP) mixture on mild steel XC52 (MS) in 3% of NaCl solution was investigated. The followed methods are potentiodynamic polarization curves and weight loss measurements in the absence and presence of various concentrations of the mixture. The experimental results show increased corrosion inhibition efficiency with the increasing of the mixture concentration. Subsequently, both technical show match results. We find that corrosion inhibition efficiency was reached 80.30% when the equimolar ratio ALPAP / AHMNBMP was of the order 10-3 M.
