SEMINAR ON WATER, CLIMATE CHANGE , AGRICULTURE,
AND TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT
SETIF ON OCTOBER 1ST TO 4TH , 2023
The PRIMA project (BENEFIT-Med), together with the Ferhat Abbas University of Sétif 1, Algeria and with the support of the General Directorate for Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSTDT), organizes the InternationalSeminar "Water, Climate Change, Agriculture and Territorial Development". With an
execution period of three years, the project aims to develop an innovative technology for the production of sustainable crops, based on functional and highly resilient legume accessions and 'on-farm' biopriming of seeds with bacterial inoculants to considerably improve seed vigor and seedling yield, even in the presence of adverse climate conditions.
The International Seminar consists of 16 sessions on different topics of geography and agronomy with a modern approach, organized by the Institute of Architecture and Earth Sciences of the Ferhat Abbas University of Sétif 1, in collaboration with several foreign universities in more than 30 countries and with the participation ofseveral researchers of different nationalities; Algerian, Italian, German, Chilean, Colombian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Senegalese etc.
